Under OSHA's asbestos construction standard, 2 hours of initial asbestos awareness training must be conducted for those employees who could come in contact with asbestos or be occupationally exposed. If you have not conducted this type of training for internal electricians, painters, custodial and maintenance personnel, you are out of compliance. You are also out of compliance if you haven't done awareness refresher training on an annual basis. RFM has initial & annual training materials available.
